Pears Action Learning Fund.

 

We have been awarded a grant from Community Foundation Wales (CFW) to participate in the Action Learning Fund supported by Pears Foundation. The programme is part of a CFW’s Trust and Foundation Project to increase the amount of UK funding coming into Wales, building connections between the Welsh third sector, and Trusts and Foundations whose base is outside of Wales.

 

As part of the programme, we will gain:

 

- An improved confidence in our ability to share a clear narrative of our work with funders.

- An increased understanding of the grant process from a funder’s perspective.

- A greater knowledge of our organisation’s areas for development and where to find support.

 

Following a workshop in September, we were tasked with identifying at least five funders outside Wales, to whom we have not applied in the past but who we are interested in pursuing.

 

We very much look forward to working with Community Foundation Wales over the coming weeks and months.
