In May 2018 we were fortunate to visit Bournemouth and see the grandson of Rabbi Asher Grunis, the first communal Rav of Cardiff (1921–1937). He lent us his grandfather’s archive so that we could digitise it. Many of the papers are in Hebrew script or German, but there are a few photographs and many English items. These, mostly replies to his letters, vividly demonstrate his main interests. We are sharing these on the People’s Collection Wales website. You can view the collection here.
